Cell Phone /
Smart Phone / Android Phone, etc.), or any hand held cellular and/or
electronic device. My Invention “ Self Motion
Charging Mechanism for Cell Phones “

This document is being created on August 23, 2015 by Donald R. Pentecost
in the State of Arizona, United States of America.

On July 4th, 2014, while working at Fry’s Grocery Store (my current employer), I was
walking behind a customer who had their cell phone in their pocket ( as do a high
percentage of people ), and I thought that the same or similar motion ( energy source )
for self-winding
watches could be applied to (self) motion charging a cell phone.
There are Two (2) options available;
One (1) would be an internal motion and/or “winding”
device that would charge the cell phone battery.

The second option would be a very small external motion sensitive
charging device that would be plugged into the existing charging port. The primary reason for
the two (2) options is that one device could be sold to cell phone owners who do not find it necessary to change/upgrade their current phone. The other ( internal device ) option is for individuals who
are in the process of purchasing a smart phone / android, etc. and would choose a self-charging
cell phone or other electronic device over the current models, AKA “let’s plug it in, if we
remember, and if we have a place to plug it in” model cell phone.
My extensive market research show that 100% of people that use a smart phone / android
or any other type of cell phone or electronic device would choose a self-charging
model rather than a “plug in”, ( none self-charging) model.
Solar charging a cell phones is impractical, and inconvenient. The same topic of “Clean
Energy” can be promoted through the use of the self-motion
charging phone. Plugging
in your cell phone in 2016 should be considered very archaic .
There are three (3) main reasons why this is a drastic improvement over what is currently on the
market; 1 ) Obvious convenience and efficiency 2) The “Clean Energy” (Politically Correct”
factor
3) The “Cool” factor. If you market the product correctly, showing a well known celebrity walking
and someone asks “ What are you doing ?” …”I’m charging my Phone”...get the right celebrity
and it will be considered very “cool” to charge your phone that way.

The engineering process for developing the mechanism is relatively simple for a qualified team.
My invention for the self motion charging cell phone (and any other related electronic devices),
and intellectual property should be considered legally protected and all inquiries should be
